Font map
Each character is composed by up to 12 squares, with 3 squares of width and 4 of height.
Some Characters have to be simplified. Characters fit in grids, this squares fit in eache grid cell.
Each line can be easily fitted and simulate. Without any curve. It's lines composed by rectangles.
When you use vector images you can upscale the font. But with Simple Pixel Font you can use bitmap images to zoom without loose quality.
Reduced size
You only have to take care to don't save with any postcript or anti-alias who could "damage" the edges.
Upscaled size
Fonts with curves and diagonals draw "teeths" without anti-alias. If you use anti-alias bitmap postcriptsed images like JPG cant upscale without loosing quality.
Simple Pixel Font can be resized indefinitedly, if you use some software without anti-alias smoothing to destroy the edge of the font.
